Bring your higher power into everything you do, including acting out or using. Go to 12 step meetings. Give it a chance. Talk to others who have been where you are. Don’t isolate. Be around people. Accept yourself where you are. Pray for the willingness to be willing to stop using. Pray for the willingness to be willing to get some help. Check yourself into the hospital or call 911 if you are feeling/acting suicidal. Hold onto anything positive in your life. Let go of that which is not in order to get cleaner. Take responsibility for yourself and all your actions. Stop kicking yourself when you are down and be kind to yourself.
